1. Decree
I will not delude myself into thinking that things are already changing. The increased move towards analogue by younger generations is very small-scale at best and artificial at worst. Because of the internet and how fast ideas are spread, it is impossible to identify real cultural and societal shifts. However, I remain hopeful that the parallels between our era and that of the Industrial Revolution will lead to a movement that mirrors the Arts and Crafts movement and reflects the Medieval paradigm. This movement will be dubbed Neo-Medievalism.

2. Towards the light
Neo-Medievalism is about reclaiming Beauty as a rebellious outlook on life. It is an unwavering desire to chase Beauty despite the surrounding ugliness of the contemporary world. It is the belief that moral ugliness and visual Beauty can coexist, but choosing to embrace Beauty and to surround oneself with it. It is the belief that cherishing Beauty and care is what makes a civilisation enlightened.
